“You work 60 hours a week… and I still can’t get you healthcare.”

That was the conversation I had to have with a newer loan officer.
She was grinding, doing everything right, but hadn’t closed enough business to qualify for traditional benefits.

Then our insurance provider dropped us.
Too many people either didn’t need old-school coverage, had it through a spouse, or simply didn’t want to pay for something that did not fit their life.

That forced me to ask a hard question:
How do we build wellness into this business in a way that actually serves entrepreneurs, instead of punishing them for being independent?

My people are builders. They want choice, flexibility, and agency, even with their healthcare. The “take it or leave it” model never made sense for them or to me quite frankly.

So we started tearing down the outdated approach and rebuilding something that looks more like our team: entrepreneurial, flexible, and focused on real wellbeing, not just checking a box.

We are not done yet, but I am excited about where we are headed and how everyone on my team can benefit from it.

Because if you are out here carrying the weight of the business, you should not feel alone when it comes to your health.

🔥 “I just want transparency.”
No you don’t.
Not really.

When most LOs say they want transparency, what they actually mean is:

“I want to know how much my company makes off each deal.”

But real transparency?
That cuts both ways.

It looks like:
📞 Tracking and sharing how many calls you make
📬 Auditing how much of your day is spent in your inbox vs. generating business
🎥 Reviewing your own videos, calls, and appointments to improve your message
📊 Knowing your credit pull costs — and how they stack up across the branch, company, and industry
🧠 Being honest about effort, not just outcomes

Transparency isn’t just knowing what your company earns.
It’s being willing to refine yourself in full view.

✅ It’s revealing.
✅ It’s uncomfortable.
✅ And it’s where real growth starts.

If you’re only chasing transparency one direction, you’re not being honest — you’re just positioning.
Real leaders know: you can’t demand clarity without offering it.

Let’s raise the bar. For ourselves. For our teams. For this industry.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻?
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Seriously.
They wake up at the same time.
Eat the same breakfast.
Work the same hours.
Wear the same outfits.
And they do it all on purpose.

What looks like monotony to others is actually mastery in motion.

Years ago, I used to chase inspiration.
I’d wait until I felt motivated to do something big—record content, make calls, hit the gym, you name it.
Some days, I was on fire. Other days? I disappeared.
And it showed—in my results, my confidence, and my leadership.

Then I got a coach.
Not a cheerleader.
Not a friend.
A coach who dismantled my systems and helped me rebuild them from the ground up.

We didn’t start by going big.
We started by getting boring.
Blocking time.
Creating structure.
Establishing cues.
Stacking small decisions that removed friction.

Once that routine locked in? Everything changed.

My energy went up.
My output skyrocketed.
My freedom expanded—not from doing less, but by eliminating clutter, decision fatigue, and chaos.

Most people think consistency is confinement.
It’s not.
Boring builds bandwidth.
It creates margin.
And it’s where real winners are made.

So if you’re stuck chasing productivity or the next breakthrough…

Start here:

Get a coach.
Be boring.

That’s how the best keep winning.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟯-𝗧𝗮𝗯 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀

Try this: No more than 3 browser tabs open at once.

One for deep work. One for reference. One for communication.

It feels ridiculous until you realize how much faster and calmer your day becomes.

I’ve come to terms with it...
At some point, I’m probably taking payment in these.
Cash is cool—but caramel hits different! 😂

𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀.

No agenda. No expectations.
Just crackling wood, two plastic chairs, and the stillness of the woods.

In that silence, it hit me hard:
This is leadership too.
This is legacy.

Not the meetings. Not the numbers. Not the perfectly executed strategies.
But the small, slow moments.
The ones where presence speaks louder than performance ever could.

She didn’t need a speech.
She just needed me there.
Relaxed. Unhurried. Available.

Some days, we overcomplicate what it means to lead.
We chase the next big strategy…
And forget that showing up fully is the most powerful thing we can do.

In these quiet moments —
with muddy shoes, cheap chairs, and no Wi-Fi —
I’m reminded that building a life matters just as much as building a business.

If you’re grinding today, I see you.
But pause long enough to enjoy what you're working so hard for.

She won’t remember my pipeline.
But she’ll remember this fire.

05/19/2025

Most people are afraid of being “found out.”
I’m not—because there’s nothing to hide.

Everything I do? It’s out there. Online. In public. On purpose.

No performance.
No pretending.
Just showing up as me.

That’s the power of building a brand rooted in truth.
The more real you are, the less you have to manage.
No scripts. No personas. Just presence.

If being seen makes you nervous, ask yourself:
What are you hiding?

Why the First Open House Wasn’t a House at All?

The first "open house" was held in 1910—but it was for a retail storefront.
Real estate borrowed the idea decades later.

Just a reminder: Innovation often starts in unexpected places.

TODAY IS THE DAY!!
𝗗𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 k𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳.

It’s not about hype. It’s about alignment.
Getting real about what’s working, what’s not, and what matters most right now.

We’re not here to flex numbers.
We’re here to reconnect, get clear, and move like a team that actually talks to each other.

Let’s build momentum the loud way: by showing up.

🧭 Let’s go.
