Cascade High School continues food drive tradition | HeraldNet.com Students at the school collected over 51,000 cans of food to distribute to local families, along with $19,000 to donate to local food banks.

Hey Class of 1995!!! The annual holiday food drive is in their last few days of collecting food and money. We had a little extra funds from the reunion sales due to some cost savings and classmates over-paying, so I was able to donate $500 on behalf of the Class of 1995 (and still have some seed money for our 40 year reunion)!!! Oh man!! I hate to report this kind of news but I feel it’s important! I was informed that another classmate of ours passed away earlier this year. Rebecca (Becky) Banning lost her long fight with type 1 diabetes. While she didn’t graduate with us we still want to honor her memory! RIP Becky!!! Thanks for letting me know Jason Veals! 🥺🙏🪽❤️

Hello Class of 1995! It is with a sad heart that I make this post. Especially, when just a week ago we were having fun and celebrating!! We lost another classmate of ours. 🥺 Please send prayers of peace to Matt Pulley’s family!! Along with all of the classmates we have lost over the years. If you didnt see our In Memory table please see the pic below and remember them in our hearts. Forever a Bruin!!

This is also a reminder that if you have heard of anyone we have lost in our class, please let me know. Thank you and feeling heartbroken! 💔

Would love any feedback from last nights reunion. This is the list I have gotten so far for our 40th in 2035!!! 😳😬😂

1. Change time to earlier - some can’t stay up past 8pm. 😂
2. BIGGER font on the name tags so we don’t have to squint or get our glasses out. ❤️
3. Hire a photographer to capture the love in the room b/c we are too caught up in the moment to remember to take our phones out ☺️
4. Anti-fatigue mats out for us to stand on cuz our feet and low back’s can’t stand on hard floors for hours!
5. Hand held massage guns, Bio-freeze spray, Bengay, pain meds on the tables for use to relieve said back pain above.

❤️🩶WOW!! What a great night!!! Thank you EVERYONE who showed up!! I hope you had a great time!! I saw lots of laughter and great conversations going on, so that makes my heart happy!! BIG shout out to Jennifer (Johnson) Lyon who helped me with name tags and decorations and Phil Hicks for playing and creating the play list for the music. Lastly, thanks to my wonderful hubby, Will Myhre, for all the support and help he provides me during the planning for this event!! Please post pics you took/have from tonight!!
