Starting October 5th, we are reverting our dismissal system for the rest of the year, as construction for our solar panel project no longer requires construction zones in the front of the school.

Parents will still wait on the parking island for pickup. The change is that they’ll face the front office, where students will now be picked up at the main entrance instead of the gym. Staff will walk students across the cross walk.

🎉 Congratulations to Iris Diaz, our first parent winner of a grocery store gift card!

Her name was drawn because her daughter was on time and at school every day last week. We’re excited to celebrate their great attendance and punctuality! 🎉

It could be you next week if your children are here on time and ready to learn all week long!

Challenger Cheetahs are doing great. So far this year, we have a daily attendance rate of 94%! If the whole school makes it to at least 78% attendance by the end of September, they will get to spin Principal Pettitt's Victory Wheel. The classes with the highest attendance for the whole month will receive a prize! Thank you for being on time and at school every day!

Across our campus, we had 59 tardies and 182 absences this week. When our students aren’t here, we miss them—and they miss important learning and connection with their classroom community. Please continue to make daily, on-time attendance a priority.

If students reach 78% average daily attendance this month, they will spin Principal Pettitt's Victory Wheel. Do you think we will make it?

Each month, the goal increases, with our end of year goal being 95% average daily attendance!

On Monday, we’ll hold our first family attendance raffle! Parents whose child was on time and at school every day this week will be entered for a chance to win a grocery gift card.
