School Overcrowding in Everett

Based on my experience, as I see it there are three components of school overcrowding.

1. Overcrowding K-8
2. Overcrowding at EHS
3. Lack of space to expand and add CTE (vocational) programming.

Opening PJHS only addresses #1. So when a candidate tells you they are going to solve this situation by opening PJHS, they are only giving you a 1/3 of the story. What are they offering on the other 2/3?

Just to clarify, Paula Sterite is banned from School Committee meetings and has a no trespassing order on all school property.

Reason being is last year, Ms Sterite befriended and coerced a EHS Junior into taking a picture of a EHS employee. In the same picture was two students including one with learning disabilities. This picture was posted on the Everett Reporter.

Taking pictures of students and posting them without written permission is a violation of school procedure and policy.

The EHS Junior was suspended for aiding her and her accomplices.

Ward 3 swept the School Committee leadership positions last night with Samantha Hurley being elected Chairperson and Jeanne Cristiano elected Vice Chairperson by their peers.

They might not be at a seat at the table this Christmas but everyday they have a seat in our hearts.
