Elementary Ed major, Kenzie, shared, “get to know at least one person in each of your classes. Having someone you know makes it easy to ask questions, catch up if you miss a class, or just have someone to talk to. It also gives you a familiar face to see throughout the school year, which can make coming to class feel a lot more comfortable.”

We are so excited to see the new and returning Aces on campus in a few weeks. As we prepare for back to school our Ed students have some tips and advice for you. Senior, Elementary Ed major, Jayme shared, ‘Don’t be afraid to try something new. Attend that club meeting, volunteer for that opportunity, ask your professor a question, or help a classmate. If you try it once and decide it’s not for you, that’s okay—but at least you gave yourself the chance to discover something new.‘
