Indiana Agriculture & Technology School (IATS) is an Indiana Public Charter School serving grades 7– 12.

A huge thank you to the Deaconess Aquatic Center for accommodating our students and helping provide this wonderful opportunity for them.

A special thank you to Coach LaGrone for connecting us with his nephew, Dylan Penn, an Evansville native and professional basketball player, who recently visited our IATS Evansville campus and spent time with our basketball team after practice!

Dylan is a 6'3" guard whose basketball journey has taken him from playing locally to competing at the collegiate and professional levels. He played college basketball at Bellarmine University and the University of Vermont before beginning his professional career overseas and in the NBA G League.

He took time after practice to speak with and inspire our student-athletes, sharing his experiences and giving them an opportunity to learn from someone who grew up right here in Evansville and has continued to pursue his passion for basketball at the professional level.

Thank you, Dylan, for visiting our campus and inspiring the next generation of student-athletes!

Indiana Agriculture & Technology School has been growing! Now in our 9th year, we continue expanding the opportunities we offer to our students and families.

We are proud to offer Hybrid and Virtual learning, In-Person campuses in Evansville and Fort Wayne, and our new In-Person Elementary School in Montezuma!

We’re excited to introduce the Special Education team supporting our students at IATS – Evansville at USI Campus this school year!

We invite our families to take a moment to meet these amazing educators who are dedicated to supporting our students and helping them thrive throughout the school year.

Michele “Shellie” Parr will support Evansville students in addition to virtual and hybrid students.

We’re also excited to recognize Jodi Eveland, Director of Special Education, who leads our Special Education department and supports our students, families, and staff across all IATS schools.

Abby Brown serves as the IATS Student Impact Coordinator, oversees all 504 student plans, and supports students and staff as an Administrative Designee at Montezuma Elementary.

We are so grateful for the dedication of our Special Education team and the support they provide to our students and families.

IATS - Evansville started the first day of school by taking students to Stendal Farm to get an up-close look at the construction of the new greenhouse. 🌱🏗️

Students also had the opportunity to see the animals at the farm and explore the learning facility, where they will be spending time during their Active Participation Days (APDs). 🐴🐄🌾

It was an amazing first day filled with hands-on learning, exploration, and new experiences! We’re so excited to continue learning both inside and outside of the classroom throughout the school year.

We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for our students! 💙💚

The Indiana Agriculture and Technology School family would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Larry Rascoe on receiving an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Evansville.

As the Director of the Southern Region at IATS and the Pastor of Nazarene Baptist Church, Dr. Rascoe has dedicated his life to serving others through leadership, faith, education, and community engagement. His unwavering commitment to empowering students, supporting families, and uplifting our community has made a lasting impact on countless lives.

This honor is a reflection of the compassion, wisdom, and servant leadership that Dr. Rascoe demonstrates every day. We are grateful for the guidance, encouragement, and vision he brings to our school and the broader Evansville community.
