Earlier this year, a group of students formed a ChangeLab titled Latinx Community Health, which was focused on raising COVID-19 vaccine awareness within the Latinx community. The students translated vaccine brochures and materials to Spanish, and they hosted a clinic in the spring in partnership with Ascension St. Vincent and Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
This fall, another clinic was planned, and UE would award a full tuition scholarship to one high school student who became fully vaccinated or brought a friend or family member to become fully vaccinated. Congratulations to Tiffany Sanchez, who was the lucky recipient of this scholarship!
