🎩✨ A Spoonful of Fun was the perfect recipe for an unforgettable week with our Rising Eagles! 🎶
Campers stepped into the world of music and theater as they learned songs, dances, and scenes inspired by Evansville Day School’s spring musical, Mary Poppins. From practicing choreography to creating their own songs, campers spent the week exploring their creativity and discovering their inner performers. 🌂🎤
Our Rising Eagles in grades 1–8 had the chance to learn from our special guest, Jubilee, who helped campers explore songwriting and the magic of music. Our Kindergarten campers enjoyed a visit from local storyteller, Susan Fowler, who shared stories that connected to the song “Jolly Holiday” from Mary Poppins. ✨
The fun continued with Mary Poppins-themed activities, crafts, and even a few magical tea parties! ☕
The week ended with a special performance in the Heekin Gymnasium, where campers from Rising to Soaring Eagles shared the songs, dances, and lines they had worked so hard to learn with family and friends.
What a magical week full of creativity, confidence, and memories made!

🎸🎶 Our Eaglets had a rockin’ time during Week 2 of Summer Academy: Mini Music Fest!
It was a week full of creativity, imagination, and fun as our little musicians explored the world of music. They created their own instruments, became rock stars, and learned all about the guitar from our special guest, Jon! 🎤✨
Even the rainy days brought extra fun as they splashed and played in the puddles, and the sunny moments were filled with playground adventures, arts and crafts, and lots of smiles.
What a fun week of making memories, discovering new talents, and celebrating music! 🌟

Soaring Eagles had all the fun in week one!
They dropped eggs protected in their creations designed to keep them from breaking-they are quite the engineers! They participated in the foraging activity, and they also got to dissect frogs! Playing Gaga with new and old summer friends was a big hit, as always! It was great to have you, Soaring Eagles!

Our Rising Eagles had an adventurous first week! They participated in “old school” outdoor camp games, made cool art projects, and even foraged wild plants on our property with a special guest speaker! Together they made some delicious homemade pesto and dandelion tea. This fun-filled first week ended with a camp out in the gym and a talent show. What a great first week!
