The children learn through hands on experiences and activities. We also have a strong Catholic religion based curriculum; where children learn about God, Jesus’ miracles, and daily prayer. For the Pre-Kindergarten classes, we attend church once a week. The children will participate in various special events throughout the year, such as Grandparents’ Day, Halloween Parties, Thanksgiving Feast, Chri

stmas Program, Christmas Parties, Sweetheart Dance, Tooth Fairy Visit School, Easter Egg Hunt, Mother’s & Father’s Day Program, EVPL Bookmobile, onsite educational visitor presentations, and various planned field trips. For the 2013-2014 school year, Daylight Discovery Preschool will have two Pre-Kindergarten Classes and one Preschool Class. One of our Pre-Kindergarten Class attended school Monday-Friday from 8:30-11:30 AM. The other Pre-Kindergarten Class attends school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30-11:30 AM. The Preschool Class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-11:30 AM. Traci Davis will continue to be the Pre-Kindergarten (5 Day Program) Teacher and Director with Angela Owens as the Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. Kelly Hamilton will be our Pre-Kindergarten (3 Day Program) Teacher and Preschool (2 Day Program) Teacher with Becky Lasher as the Preschool Assistant Teacher. The teachers are looking forward to building many memories at Daylight Discovery Preschool, as they shape the children in learning and our Catholic faith.

Welcome to Daylight Discovery Preschool! For the 2025-2026 school year, our school will be offering HALF DAY and FULL DAY programs with BEFORE and AFTER school care! You are invited to our Open House on Monday, February 10th from 5:30-7:30 PM. This is a parent only event. During this time, you will be able to meet the staff, tour our classrooms, and explore our building for the 2025-2026 school year!
