COST: $199 (includes provided motorcycle, classroom materials, one-year membership to ABATE of Indiana and subscription to "Hoosier Motorcyclist" magazine)
AGE: You must be 15 years or older (under 18 requires signed parental waiver)*
No permit is required to take this class. Students should provide the following gear: helmet, eye protection, long sleeves, long pants (without holes), full-finger gloves, and sturdy over-the-ankle footwear. Students should arrive at least 15 minutes before the class begins. There are NO REFUNDS, registration is NOT TRANSFERABLE and RESCHEDULING FEES will apply. This class is on a pass or fail basis. ABATE of Indiana assumes no responsibility for any student completion of these rider education courses. To complete the course you must attend all sessions, pass a written and riding exam.
