Today in Room 3, we explored the magic of play using recycled materials! ♻️✨

From cardboard boxes to recycled cup holders, our little learners transformed everyday items into imaginative creations. Playing with recycled materials provides a plethora of opportunities for creativity, problem-solving, and sensory exploration.

We saw children create their own drive through window, all from items that might otherwise be thrown away. Not only does this type of play spark imagination, but it also helps children learn about sustainability and caring for our environment. 🌎💚

It’s amazing what little hands (and big imaginations) can do with “just junk”!

EZ Room 2 is perfecting their mud pie skills!

Ivy Tech 104 made purple punch while learning about the letter P and did some rainy day finger painting. 🎨

Happy birthday, Head Start! provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to children and families.

EZ2 enjoyed a picnic lunch on our playground today!! The weather is perfect!

CAPE Early Head Start Home-Base Program enjoyed a wonderful socialization at Wesselman Park! The children soaked up the sunshine while enjoying story time with Mr. Eric, painting activities, and tasty snacks. 🎨📖🍎

Socialization is an important part of the EHS Home-Based program, providing opportunities for children and families to come together for play, connection, and building community. 💛👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
