🎉👏 Congratulations to Clayton Slack for being recognized at the New Student Convocation as the Outstanding Transfer Student for 2024–2025! 👏🎉

Clayton is a senior Sport Management major at USI. Originally from Viroqua, Wisconsin, he has been supported by his parents, two sisters, his girlfriend, and their family’s black lab along his journey. After beginning his education and baseball career at Marshalltown Community College (Iowa) and Madison College (Wisconsin), Clayton transferred to USI in Fall 2024 to continue both his baseball career and studies in Sport Management. ⚾🦅

Garrett is from Powell, Wyoming, and is a senior Sport Management major at USI. He is also a midfielder on the USI Men’s Soccer Team. ⚽🦅

Jacob is a sophomore majoring in Sport Management at USI with minors in Business Administration and Sport and Business Studies. He currently serves as President of the Sport Management Club and also works with USI Athletics.

Dr. Langley traveled to China last week to teach summer sport management classes to students at Chengdu Sports University, our partner university. Below are a couple pictures of him teaching one of the classes. We hope he has a great time and experience in China over the summer!
