The last day of UE Dance Camp was epic!!! Rehearsals, relaxing during a movie, delicious Juneteenth dinner by Chef Jeff at Turn Table, LLC (grew up in the EPN and now has his own business), and getting ready to show out for their friends and families. About 130 people came to see our kids for the best show we’ve ever had. Our hearts are so full, and we can’t wait till next year (the UE Dance Company’s 10 year anniversary!!). Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Our sponsors, particularly the Evansville Promise Neighborhood, all the departments at UE who work to set it up, and particularly the incredible staff willing to overwork their bodies and minds to give the kids this experience. Not everyone is willing to do summer camps, they’re hard! It takes a special kind of person to be willing to do that for another person’s benefit, and I’m so grateful to our team of 15 this year. And of course, thank you to our families and campers for trusting us. You’ve changed our lives too, and you’re all !!! 💜 🧡

Wednesday and Thursday at UE Dance Company’s Dance Camp have been incredible! The growth in these dancers has inspired everyone who has taken a peek at their rehearsals. To the list before, we’ve added the America 250 routine, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and even let them make up their own dances. They’re filling Ridgway with joy and we hope you can come see the results of their hard work tomorrow in Eykamp 6-7pm 6/19. 💜 🧡

Having the best time at Dance Camp!

First two days of UE Dance Camp Year 5 have been incredible! Staff move-in, Tai Chi, Pom, Tango, Salsa 💃 to a fun Bad Bunny song, and a Michael Jackson Jazz routine have already been learned!! We even got to play volleyball on campus. The campers are working SO HARD with positive attitudes, and loving their time at UE. We are grateful to our team on and off the dance floor making this possible, and our sponsors: Evansville HYUNDAI, Center for Innovation & Change Innovation Fund. But particularly grateful to our main sponsor, the Evansville Promise Neighborhood. That grant is making it possible for so many kids to have this life changing experience. What a blessing it is to our community.

Today, we get to chill out a bit, and feel some new emotions with Lyrical and a fun Pom collab with UE’s Silver Aces! The kids will get a look at the routine the Silver Aces are doing at the National July 4th Parade with the America’s Golden Dream Dancers, a routine we’ll show the local community later this fall as part of the 250th Celebrations.

T-Minus 5 Days Until Camp!

The countdown is officially on. In just 5 days, we’ll kick off another unforgettable week of UE Dance Camp, and we could not be more excited.

Thank you for trusting us with your dancers. We are honored to be a small part of their summer and can’t wait to watch them learn, grow, create, build friendships, and shine all week long.

Please help us welcome our newest staff members as they officially become part of the UE Dance Family. We are excited for the energy, passion, and leadership they will bring to camp this year.

We can’t wait to see everyone soon. Let the countdown begin!

Once a year, we get to get up very early and judge the Lithuania 🇱🇹 Changemaker Challenge for the Vilnius International School, and it remains a massive highlight. These young leaders tackled serious issues in their country with maturity, passion and depth. Congratulations to these new Changemaker Alumni!
