Making Your Voting Plan
Check your voter registration to make sure you are registered to vote. College students can choose to register to vote either where they live while attending school or in their permanent hometown, but they must vote in the location where they are registered. Hello,
This is a friendly reminder that tonight at 5 p.m. in Forum 1, The MCC will show the film A Million Miles Away, directed by Alejandra Márquez Albella and starring Michael Peña.
It is a biopic about José Hernández and his path from a farm worker to becoming an engineer and an astronaut. A tale of perseverance, community, and sacrifice to accomplish a seemingly impossible dream.

Hello, Social Justice Warriors!
The USI Nelson Mandela Day Social Justice Committee is partnering with the Center for Social Justice Education (CSJE) again this year for the Social Justice Activism Fair, and we would love for your organization to join us!
The social justice activism fair will be on Wednesday, 11/8, from 12-2 pm on the USI campus quad. (We have confirmed an alternate spot if it is too cold).
We invite campus groups and community organizations to attend the fair (1-2 representatives per group) and staff a table for their organization. Students & the USI community at large will be invited to visit each table and learn more about the organization, its mission and goals, and potential volunteer or engagement opportunities.
If you accept the invitation, your organization will be provided with a table and two chairs on the quad. You should bring information about your organization and any materials you wish to distribute. This is a great way to promote your organization's issues and engage students as volunteers or advocates!
To accept the Social Justice Activism Fair invitation, please complete the online form below.
