Our epoxy workshops are a great way to learn the basics of creating your own epoxy projects and they're always a lot of fun. But not every project is a simple pour, and sometimes you have a vision that's best left to the expert.

That's where Gordy comes in. For this project, the customer provided the base, and selected the burl and the epoxy color, then left the rest to Gordy. Creating this piece involved four separate epoxy pours and multiple coats of finish to achieve the final look.

The result? We think it turned out beautifully.

And yes, along with custom furniture and cabinetry, Gordy takes on larger, more complex epoxy projects, too. Pricing varies depending on the materials, amount of epoxy, number of pours, finishing work, and overall complexity.

Gordy is heading to Creekfest! 🎉

Come find Gordon Miller Woodworks at Creekfest on Saturday, September 12. Gordy will have a booth full of handcrafted cutting and serving boards, wood & epoxy pieces, board butter and oil, and plenty of other one-of-a-kind finds.

You'll choose your own wood, experiment with vibrant epoxy colors, and create a one-of-a-kind project that's both beautiful and functional. Whether your style is bold and colorful or natural and classic, every project is different because you design it.

This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop with plenty of individual guidance from Gordy, so no prior epoxy or woodworking experience is necessary. Just bring your creativity—we'll take care of the rest.

Creating your project is just the first step! After the workshop, your piece will remain in the shop for approximately two days while the epoxy cures. Once it's fully cured, you can return to complete the sanding and oil finish yourself, or have Gordy professionally finish it for $75 and pick up a project that's ready to enjoy.
