Dont forget to sign up for PTA!! You will recieve the Evansville area council discount card along with your Membership. The card has some awesome deals on it! Membership forms will come home next week. Schools!! You do so much for our children!! To thank you, any WCSC and EVSC employee will receive a free lunch or dinner from Ghost Quesadilla next week. From July 13th - 19th, just show your badge and receive a free meal of your choice. Any entree, chips/salsa and a drink. Any employee, you don’t have to be a teacher. We appreciate your efforts and understand it’s a really rough time to be a teacher. (No delivery options for this offer). Please share with any friends who work in the school corps. Thank you.

Attention fairlawn families.
Hello Fairlawn Families!

Thank you for all you have done to continue student learning while keeping students safe in these very unusual circumstances!

The time has come that we will begin distributing students’ personal belongings and collect any school property that students may have at home. In order that the exchange is as safe, organized, and expedited as possible, we have established the following guidelines:

Pick up times:
Tuesday, May 19th:
9:00 AM -11:00 AM - Wee Care and Grade 3
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Grade K, Grade 1and Grade 4
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Grade 2 and Grade 5

Wednesday, May 20th:
9:00 AM -11:00 AM - Grade 2 and Grade 5
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Wee Care, and Grade 3
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Grade K, Grade 1 and Grade 4

Thursday, May 21st:
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - all families unable to come at posted times
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - all families unable to come at posted times

Families with more than one student may choose one of the assigned times to pick up/drop off. If none of the above times work for you and your family, please call the school at: 812-476-4997 and leave a detailed message with your name, your student’s/students’ name(s), and your phone number. We will return your call and make arrangements to get student items to you.

Drive-up, For Wee Care, Grade K, Grade 1, Grade 2 and families with multiple grade level aged children
PLEASE:
Enter Alvord St. MAIN parking lot entry. Remain in vehicle. Staff will come to you.
Display a large sign in the passenger side front window indicating student name(s), 2019-2020 grade level(s), and homeroom teacher(s). Pull up by the Cafeteria windows and open your trunk, if possible. Staff will place labeled, bagged items in the trunk. Put any items to be returned (technology, library books, school property, etc.) in a bag with a label that includes the child’s name, grade, and homeroom teacher. Add “return” to your window sign. Staff will retrieve item(s) from your trunk, if available. Band/orchestra instruments should be returned if your child will not continue the program in the 2020-2021 school year.

Drive-up, For Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5

Staff will retrieve item(s) from your trunk, if available.
Band/orchestra instruments should be returned if your child will not continue the program in the 2020-2021 school year.

Walkers, PLEASE:
Follow above guidelines, as possible.
Maintain social distancing by following the markings while forming a line at the “walker” table. In the event of inclement weather, please go to the main door, and maintain social distancing by following the markings. If it is necessary to bring children, they must remain with you at all times.

We miss our student falcons and will wave from a distance, but we will practice social distancing as much as possible during this time. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we make the exchanges. Stay safe, healthy, and well!
