The Jezreel Expedition thanks students in Jennie Ebeling's 'Jezreel Analysis and Publication' course at the University of Evansville. During the spring semester, eleven undergraduate archaeology majors completed preliminary reports of the glass and nail assemblages excavated by the Jezreel Expedition 2013-2018 and conducted their own research on a range of Jezreel-related topics, including the Roman-Byzantine cyst tombs, the connection between St. Varus and Jezreel, a reanalysis of the Crusader church, and Jezreel as pilgrimage site. Jezreel staff and team members and glass specialist Alysia Fischer generously provided assistance along the way. This course was a terrific opportunity for BA students to contribute to the ongoing analysis and publication of Jezreel. Thanks to all!

Dr. Fischer gave a presentation on her research of ancient glassblowing technology before supervising the initial sorting and identification of objects in the Jezreel glass artifact assemblage with UE archaeology students. We are grateful for her generosity and expertise!

We were honored to have Ray Lutgring, Dean of the William L. Ridgway College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Evansville, with us for the last two weeks. Alongside other Jezreel team members, Ray dug, pushed wheelbarrows, hauled stone artifacts, wrote on pottery, and much more. Thank you for supporting us in so many ways over the past seven years, Ray!
