Meet our Orientation Leader: Teekay Nalwimba!✨
Teekay is a Marketing Major student from Zambia who is passionate about helping new students feel welcomed and supported as they begin their journey at USI.
💙Teekay’s advice for incoming students:
“If I could give one piece of advice to any incoming student, especially international students, it would be this: put yourself out there. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable, because that’s where growth begins. Some of the most meaningful friendships, opportunities, and memories come from simply saying yes to a new experience or starting a conversation with someone you’ve never met. College is about so much more than earning a degree it’s about discovering who you are, building a community, and creating stories you’ll carry with you for the rest of your life. Don’t be afraid to take that first step; you never know how one moment or one connection could change your journey.”
