EVSC Summer Nutrition Program starts today! 🧇🥪🍎🥦

Summer break is almost here! ☀️ Get a head start on your summer planning with the EVSC Summer Nutrition Program.

We will be offering FREE MEALS for ALL kids 18 years & younger! Check out the attached flyer for a full list of locations, dates, and serving times so you are ready to go when school lets out. 🗓️

Important Note: There will be no meal service on June 19th & July 3rd. Please share to help us spread the word before the final bell rings! 🍎

We can't wait to see our summer school students today! Doors open at 8:45. We'll see you then!

We are excited to announce that we will be launching a new PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program at Tekoppel! This program will help us continue encouraging positive behavior, responsibility, kindness, and leadership throughout our school each and every day.

As we get started, we are asking for the support of our amazing Tekoppel community! We are currently accepting donations and have created an Amazon Wish List filled with rewards and supplies that will help make this program successful for our students.

Every donation, big or small, will help us recognize and celebrate our Tigers for making great choices! 🐾

Tomorrow is 5th grade recognition! Families of 5th graders please see the information below. 💙🐾🎓

🔬🌈 Sweet Science Fun at Tekoppel! 🌈🔬

Ms. Lane’s 4th grade class teamed up with Mrs. David’s 1st grade class for a colorful and tasty science experiment! Students worked together to test whether different colored Skittles actually taste different. 🍬👀

The classrooms were filled with laughter, teamwork, and lots of scientific thinking as students made predictions, tested their ideas, and shared their results. It was a great opportunity for our older students to help guide and encourage our younger Tigers while making learning fun and interactive!

Hands-on learning + teamwork + Skittles = a great day at Tekoppel! 🐯💛🧪

Our 5th graders put their creativity and engineering skills to the test today with their Egg Drop Project! Students worked hard designing and building protective containers to see if they could keep their eggs safe after a big drop.

From teamwork and problem-solving to lots of laughter and excitement, it was a great hands-on learning experience for everyone involved. We are so proud of the creativity, effort, and critical thinking our students showed today!
