The Student Alumni Association, formed in 1989, is a student-run organization committed to promoting and supporting the establishment of new traditions at USI. Traditions help create a sense of unity between past, present, and future students while creating lasting memories. One of SAA's goals is to foster better relationships and provide a link between USI's students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

The countdown to Lighting a Tradition 2019 begins...only 17 more days until our favorite on-campus holiday event!
USI welcomes community for annual lighting of the Quad, holiday activities - University of Southern Indiana Lighting a Tradition, a campus-favorite holiday event, is set for Monday, November 25, at the University of Southern Indiana. Full of family-friendly festivities, the event is open to the public and runs from 6 to 8 p.m.

USI to celebrate Lighting a Tradition with holiday festivities - University of Southern Indiana The University of Southern Indiana Student Alumni Association is set to host the 28th annual Lighting a Tradition at 6 p.m. Monday, November 19 on The Quad of the USI campus. The event is open to students, faculty, staff, retirees and the community.
