***Seniors important scholarship opportunity and deadline approaching - Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship***
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship will cover full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for books and required equipment for four year of full-time
undergraduate study leading to a baccalaureate degree at any Indiana public or private nonprofit college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The Vanderburgh Community Foundation will accept online applications for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship through August 14, 2026.
Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Requirements:
● Be a resident of Indiana and graduate from a Vanderburgh County high school by June 2027.
● Have a minimum 3.8 cumulative unweighted GPA.
● Have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or a minimum ACT score of 25.
● Graduate with an Indiana Core 40 Academic or Technical Honors diploma.
● Be available for an interview with the scholarship committee if selected as a finalist and be prepared to write a short essay prior to the interview on a selected topic as an example of writing/critical thinking skills.
● Apply for the scholarship in only one county.

● Notify your counselor that you are applying for the Lilly scholarship and ask her to send your transcript to Vanderburgh Community Foundation.
