This $1,000 award honors the legacy of Reitz grad Trinity Bell and will be given to two senior athletes at F.J. Reitz High School who show strong character, sportsmanship, and dedication—on and off the field.

🎓 Class of 2026 Update 🎓

Seniors are 7 WEEKS away from graduation! Counselors met with the Class of 2026 this morning to share important information for the end of the year. Please see the upcoming events to celebrate our seniors!

Additional senior packets are in the counseling office.

Junior students & parents: see important info regarding upcoming SAT school day testing.

ALL JUNIORS: School Day SAT on Wednesday, March 4th

This assessment is mandatory and serves as Indiana’s high school accountability assessment for English and Math. To prepare for the test, students can review College Board’s SAT website and even take an online practice test using the link below.

* Juniors who normally attend satellite programs in the morning will report directly to Reitz on March 4th.

Participation in the school day SAT is free to juniors and students will be able to send their score reports to up to four colleges at no additional cost. Students will receive their SAT scores in May through their College Board accounts. Their scores may also be used to satisfy the Postsecondary Ready Competency of your student’s graduation pathway.

Students should check their emails next week for testing locations. Attendance on March 4th is very important. Make up exams will be given to students who are absent.

🎉 We are beyond excited to announce that Reitz & EVSC Early College senior Callie Tyler has also been named a National Merit Finalist!

This is an incredibly rare and prestigious academic honor. To understand just how huge this is:
📉 Callie was selected from an initial pool of over 1.3 million students nationwide.
🏆 She officially ranks in the top 1% of high school seniors in the country.
📝 Callie had to maintain an outstanding academic record throughout high school, earn a confirming top-tier SAT/ACT score, and submit a rigorous application including a personal essay and a school recommendation.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Dharbi Byrne-Bodart from Reitz High School has been named a National Merit Finalist!

This is one of the highest academic honors a U.S. high school student can achieve. To give you an idea of how impressive this is: Dharbi emerged from a pool of over 1.3 million students nationwide. She is among the top 1% of high school seniors in the country.

Becoming a Finalist requires more than just a high test score. Dharbi also had to demonstrate a flawless academic record, earn a confirming SAT/ACT score, and submit a rigorous application.

Senior parents & students: a representative from USI's Financial Aid office will lead a session tomorrow (Wednesday, February 4) at 5:30 PM in the Media Center on filing the FAFSA. We hope to see you there!

Reitz students don’t have to sacrifice a true high school experience for the sake of a challenging academic program. Our students have the opportunity to take up to 14 AP courses in addition to taking dual credit courses that can earn 23 hours of college credit! Along the way they can participate in an award-winning fine arts program.
