The kids have been BEGGING for a water day. So, we set up our water tables and a car wash for this extra warm day!

We had such a fun week, dressing up and doing activities based off some of our favorite Dr Seuss books! Check back in for all the fun we have planned for dinosaurs, spring, and Space weeks which are coming up! Happy, almost Spring!

So many children have come and gone. Every single one of them holds a piece of our hearts. 💙

They don't tell you that a piece of your heart leaves with them.

You watch them grow, from their first wobbly steps to their first full sentences. You tie their shoes, wipe their tears, and cheer for them when they finally learn to write their name. You are their safe place.

Then, one day, they are ready to leave. They move on to the next grade or a new town. Your room feels a little quieter. You miss their silly jokes and warm hugs.

Being a caregiver is more than a job. It's loving a child like they are your own, and then finding the strength to let them go.

With so many incredible Authors, we started Reading Across America, last week! We learned about James Dean (Pete the Cat) and Eric Carl. This week we kicked off our Dr Seuss inspired Spirit week.
Today, Green Eggs and Ham! I was impressed that multiple children tried and enjoyed the green eggs for breakfast. Tomorrow we wear stripes and hats for The Cat and the Hat! Lots of fun planned for the week. 😀

We had a Spooktacular Halloween celebration yesterday!! Wishing everyone a Happy and Safe Halloween!! 💙💜All of us at Little Dar's!!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I haven't posted since February!! I may have been pretty absent on FB, but Little Dar's is still ! Today we had our Farwell Celebration for 2 very special children. Loraine will be leaving us for preschool and Ezra is off to Kindergarten!! It's so bittersweet as these two have been with us for the 4+ years! Oh how we will miss you both!!!

Today we had our Halloween celebration and it was Spook-tacular!!!! We dressed up as a skeleton crew which was so adorable. We explore buckets of "worms", fed our ghost, pinned some eyes on a monster, and had yummy eats! Wishing everyone a Happy and Safe Halloween! 🍂🎃🎊🎉🥳🎃🍂
