hey guys
is anyone looking for a job? this was emailed to us, if you want to learn more feel free to visit the website!
Thank you!
African Student Union,
I am writing to inform your organization about the Foreign Language Program with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.). The FBI is looking for translators who are fluent in a variety of languages, including Hausa, Somali, Swahili, Tigrinya, and Yoruba. If anyone in your organization is interested in working as a linguist for the FBI, please ask that they apply online at http://www.fbijobs.gov/linguists . Linguists with the FBI begin as independent contractors and may eventually be offered permanent employment. (Part-time positions are available.) Linguists responding to this canvass could work in Indianapolis or any major field office of their preference.

Please note that our hiring process requires testing and a background process that can be lengthy. In addition, we require our linguists to speak, read, and write English well. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, and must have lived in the United States for three out of the last five years.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach us at the email address provided below. If you have other contacts in your community who may also be interested (professors, tutors, and/or students), please pass along this information.

Respectfully,
Supervisory Foreign Language Program Coordinator
