This week at CHS...

This was so exciting for our Wildcats!

Recently our 5th graders wrapped up Module 3- Athlete Leaders of Social Change by giving presentations of athletes who had lead social change. Some athletes include Fritz Pollard, Jim Thorpe, Misty Copeland, and more!

In February, we were focused on Wildcats who were ATTENTIVE! These students stood out to staff this month.

The kindergartners in Mrs. Umbach’s class are working hard on spelling and building their reading fluency! During partner reading, they do a wonderful job reading carefully, listening to their partners, and encouraging one another. It’s so exciting to watch them help their friends and grow more confident as readers every day! 📚🌟

We have been celebrating Black History Month in February. Each morning our Student Leadership Council students have introduced us to a prominent figure! Ask your Wildcat which was their favorite and why.

Mrs. Miller and our choir performed the National Anthem at the Thunderbolts game over the weekend. We love seeing our Wildcats in the community!

Mrs. Pritchett’s students have been working hard to understand fractions! We love it when our Wildcats work together to build their knowledge!
