Taking NEW beginners-intermediate students. Learn from a seasoned pianist to classicly play and read charts. Lessons are $15 per 30 minute lesson.
I (Rachel) classically train my piano students, but I also teach those who are interested how to read chord charts and play within the structure of a local church worship band. Places are limited. Current lessons will be on Wednesdays at Catalyst Church. Contact Rachel Whitmore to set up a meeting and to claim one of the Wednesday time slots.

Congratulations to Whitmore Piano Studio student, Anna Wesselman, for qualifying for and playing in the Indiana Arts Festival Evansville District 8 West Honors Recital. Anna did a lovely job performing her piece, and a special bonus, today is her 16th birthday! Great job and Happy Birthday, Anna!
Since the EVSC closed schools again today, we will not have lessons today, Thursday, February 20. Stay safe and warm!
In accordance with my policy to cancel lessons when the school system cancels school, all piano lessons are canceled today, Wednesday, February 19. Stay safe and warm!
We will have lessons the week of the Fall Festival. I also plan to teach next week during EVSC’s fall break. Please let me know if your child plans to be at lessons or not these next two weeks. Thanks!
The annual Whitmore Piano Studio recital will be held Tuesday, June 4 at 7 p.m. in the Catalyst Church worship center. A cupcake reception will immediately follow the recital.
Just a reminder to my Thursday students: The Taste of the Fest event is happening in the Catalyst Church parking lot today, so be prepared for traffic and extra craziness in the parking lot today. You might want to plan on arriving a few minutes early so you can park on the west side of the building and walk down to the parking lot to access the building.

Congratulations to Whitmore Piano Studio student, Anna Wesselman for qualifying to play in the Indiana Arts Festival Evansville West Honors Recital.
In order for a student to qualify, they must play a piece in the contemporary or classical category at the intermediate or advanced level and receive a superior rating at the Indiana Arts Festival. Way to go, Anna!
