This past week was our orientation for the Southern Indiana FAME AMT Class of 2028. These young men and women are taking that first step into a promising and successful career path. VU Techmester Camp 2026  

SoINFAME was proud to sponsor and participate in this year’s STEM Fest at New Tech Institute.

Shaley and Olivia shared how our Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) Program provides a debt-free, earn-and-learn pathway into advanced manufacturing careers. Luke and Olivia also demonstrated how manufacturers use PLC systems to automate machinery in today’s modern production environments.

When students can see and interact with real automation technology, perceptions change. Advanced manufacturing is high-tech, hands-on, and full of opportunity.

The pipeline starts with exposure.

Today was a busy and rewarding day helping Boy Scouts earn their Robotics Merit Badge. A special thanks to our students for helping out.

This week our 2nd AMTs participated in thier final MCE 5 over Machine Reliability. In addition to participating in simulated exercises, students will also be tasked with on the job projects to reinforce their knowledge.
