Randall T. Shepard Academy for Law and Social Justice

The Shepard Academy was founded on five guiding principles: build future thinkers, readers, speakers, writers, and leaders. Last week the SA Juniors were treated to a master’s class in all five. Evansville Fire Department Chief Connelly spoke about incident command structure, effective leadership strategies, and community service. Evansville Professional Fire Fighters Local 357 Ladder 1 Lt. Mastison (also a Shepard Academy alumni) presented on conflict resolution, effective communication, and professionalism. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with our students as we continue our mission of developing tomorrow’s leaders today. Stay safe and thank you to the entire EFD for your 133 years of service to our community.
