As the final days of our 2026 summer camps wind down, we want to celebrate an incredible season! Nearly 100 students visited USI through our camps!

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who helped make this season a success.

We are now gearing up for an exciting academic year ahead, especially with the launch and growth of our new STEM Discovery Lab on campus. We can’t wait to welcome even more K-12 students, teachers, and families for year-round programming.

Thank you again for being part of our SwISTEM community this summer.

There is still time to register your high schooler for Explore Kinesiology & Sport at USI — a fun, hands-on mini-camp on July 21-22, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Screaming Eagles Complex!

During this mini-camp, participants will tour state-of-the-art facilities, test professional fitness equipment (heart rate, strength, body comp & more!), work in small groups to create a real sport marketing plan, and hear directly from current students, alumni, coaches, and industry pros about college life and career paths in exercise science, athletic training, sport management, coaching, PT, OT, and more.

Is your high schooler interested in STEM but short on opportunities to explore it? Back for its second year, the Explore USI Summer Series is designed with busy families in mind! The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education at the University of Southern Indiana invites students in grades....

Everyone here at the SwISTEM Resource Center and USI are incredibly proud of our Prowling Panthers as well!

🏆 🦾🤖What an incredible finish for our Prowling Panthers! 🤖🦾🏆

At Finals, the team earned the Rising Star Award! This honor is given to a team that demonstrates exceptional potential and promise for the future. Out of all the teams competing, only 30 awards were presented!

The team also achieved an outstanding 8th place finish out of 69 teams in the Robot Games competition!!!!

We are so incredibly proud of our Prowling Panthers for their hard work, dedication, and determination throughout the season. Their success is a reflection of countless hours of teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. The future is bright for this amazing group of students!
