Weekday Childcare | Oakhill Baptist Church At Oakhill Baptist Childcare, we strive to provide a caring Christian environment for each child in our care. Our goal is to encourage and provide social interaction, learning concepts (through play), and fun for all children so that they may grow and develop to their fullest potential.

Oakhill Baptist Childcare is a Level 3 Paths to Quality registered ministry that serves about 65 families on a weekly basis. We are currently hiring a Preschool Afternoon Assistant. The hours are Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Duties include:
· Parent Communication and building relationships with families
·Changing Diapers
Loving interactions with the children
· Updating daily information on an app called Brighwheel
· Working well with other coworkers
· Keeping the classroom clean
· Doing Dishes
· Taking the trash out
· Playing with the children
· Attendance is necessary for us to stay within State Ratio. If you are going to be absent, we expect as much notice as you can give us.
New hires will need to be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check. They will also be required to get fingerprinted and have a physical, along with a TB test. You must have a high school diploma or GED.
Some benefits for working at OHBCC are paid vacation and personal days, along with paid holidays. We are paid weekly. We also offer the TEACH Program, where you can go and get your CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood completely paid for. We are also very flexible with scheduling conflicts within reason. Aflac plans are offered as well. Lastly, you will be provided with some awesome OHBCC t-shirts to wear daily.

One of our After-School families was affected by the explosion yesterday (8/10). Their house was damaged and they have not been able to return to it. We would like to help them out by purchasing Walmart gift cards and restaurant gift cards. If you would like to help this family, please drop off cash or check(made out to OHBCC) or gift cards to the Childcare office and we will get it to the family. Then in the fund section select "Daycare Giveback Fund". The rest you fill out as is and click submit. Any monetary donations we receive will be used to purchase giftcards. The family appreciates our thoughts and prayers as they go through this.
