🏖️PART TIME OPENING🏖️
I don’t post much on here lately, and I apologize for that. Life is CRAZY. We’ve been at full capacity and ready for a summer break!

I wanted to post that I may have a part time opening for
1 child
M Tu W each week.
Hours may be discussed in detail with wiggle room….and our perfect fit would be from 9:15ish am -4:30pm (that’s the latest pickup time available, May pickup sooner).

This is tentative and I’ll post once I know for sure. I’m open to discussing needs and schedules in case this opening happens soon. Thanks everyone. 💞 Hugs

Since welcoming our first batch of friends💞 we have done SO MUCH learning through play and I couldn’t be more impressed with these littles! I’m attaching a few pics to give a glimpse of what a week looks like here (besides being loud, messy, and fun)!
I feel grateful and fulfilled.

I’ve got our little friends frostily resting for their big sled races tomorrow! Also got pools of jello that will magically find an Olaf in them! I even wrangled a fun learning experience for littlest neighborhood friend!!! Yay 😁
Today we played Pin the Tusk on the Mammoth! I integrated several teachable moments per usual! We started with name recognition with each child spelling their name as well…then we played and discussed good sportsmanship!

Oh how I HOPE to influence kids in a similar way 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I am in ♥️♥️♥️ with how the OT Toolbox educates how the most simple things develop actual skills in the body!

Tearing paper a simple fine motor activity that requires only scrap paper and your hands. In fact, tearing paper actually helps children develop so many essential skills: hand strength, hand eye coordination, precision, refined movements, bilateral coordination…

When a child tears a piece of paper, they improve hand strength and endurance in the small muscles in the hand. These intrinsic muscles are important in so many fine motor skills, including those important to handwriting and coloring, managing buttons and zippers, manipulating pegs, and more.

When paper is torn, the hands assume a great tripod grasp which is effective and a mature grasp for writing and coloring. The non-dominant hand is assisting in the tearing and encourages appropriate assistance for tasks like holding the paper while writing, and managing paper while cutting with scissors.
