Little Learners is currently hiring a self-motivated individual that has the ability to work independently for a float position in our facility. This individual would float in classrooms as needed, prep and serve snack and lunch, they would stock supplies throughout the building and be responsible for cleaning outside of the classrooms. This is a full-time 8 to 5 position.

We are currently hiring for our summer program. This position would be 745 to 445 Monday through Friday. This position would be with our Elementary aged children. The children do follow a schedule for the summer as well as do trips to the park and aquatic center. This position would run from May 26th and end August 7th.

No nights, weekends, or holidays required. PTO after a year and paid holidays after 90 days. Must be able to pass background check and drug test. Pm us or email us at [email protected] if you would like to set up an interview for either position.

Little Learners has an infant spot coming available February 2nd. We are located at 1313 N Main St in Evansville, and we are open Monday through Friday 630 am to 530 pm. It's that time of year! We would love to partner with you to ensure these families have a sweet Christmas. We will be collecting household items, hygiene items, and non-perishable food items in the facility. If you want help with a family's specific needs/wants you may make a monetary donation or gift card donation, and we will shop for you; or reach out to us for specific items requested by families.

We have had a huge decline in enrollment due to these cuts. Our staff has not been able to get their full 40 hours. We strive to provide quality care as well as providing them with an enriched learning environment but these cuts are putting road blocks in what we can do within our facility. Not only does it effect our program but also our ability to give back to the community like we have in the past. Many of you know we do a Christmas outreach for families that are having a rough time or whom are even homeless. Last year we were able to help 6 families. 7 adults and 16 children received a Christmas from our facility last year. We had to cut it off at 4 families this year. While families within our facility are major contributors to the give back we use our own resources to help fund the gaps. With all this being said please know that early childhood education provides the best jump start for children. They learn so much emotionally, intellectually, and even how to socialize with peers and adults. Programs like ours provide a great start to what school is going to be like and eases that transition when the time comes. We are not just babysitters.

At a meeting Tuesday, more than a dozen child care providers held up their hands when asked if they think they'll have to close their business in the next two years due to recent child care voucher cuts that support families and businesses' profit.

Little Learners currently has openings in our 2-year-old class as well as openings in our 3's preschool classroom. We provide snacks, lunch, wipes, and creative child curriculum. We are conveniently located near First Ave. and the Llyod. We are open Monday through Friday 630 to 530. We do accept vouchers!
