📚✨ Evans Family Literacy Night! ✨📚

Good afternoon, Evans families! 💚🖤

We are excited to host our first Family Literacy Night in partnership with the University of Evansville on Thursday, September 17 at 5:00 PM!

Join us for an evening of literacy, learning, and family fun! Each participating student will receive:
📚 FREE books
🏠 A take-home literacy kit for the family
🍝 FREE dinner — pasta, garlic bread, salad, and dessert!

💚🖤 ChangeMaker Update! 🖤💚

The new swings are officially installed and OPEN! 🎉

Yesterday was the first day our students were finally able to use them, and their reactions made it even more special. Hearing students run out to recess shouting…

“Oh my gosh!! The swings are done!”
“The swings!!!!!! I love them!!!” 🥹💚

…was exactly why we started this project.

Seeing the excitement on their faces and watching them enjoy another newly improved part of their school makes all of the planning and hard work worth it!

Behind so much of our students’ growth is a team of caring adults cheering them on every step of the way! Ms. Brown, Ms. Cabell, Mrs. Midkiff, and Mrs. Morton work alongside our students and teachers to provide the encouragement, care, and extra support our Cubs need throughout the school day.
We’re so thankful for the patience, positivity, and heart they bring to Evans each day! 💚

Just a reminder that our After-School Programs Call-Out Meeting is TODAY from 4:00–5:00 PM in the library! 🐾💚

Come by to:
⭐ Register your student for after-school programs
⭐ Choose from clubs and programs they’re interested in
⭐ Meet some of our after-school staff
⭐ Explore new programs being offered this year
⭐ Sign up for PTSA
⭐ Visit the Cub Closet, which will be open to families during the meeting!

Most programs are limited to 14 students and are first-come, first-served, so we encourage families to stop by and get registered!
