The Northwestern Bach Academy is underway and our conductors are hard at work with Dr. Megill!
We are looking forward to presenting part of Bach’s Mass in B minor this Saturday. But first: our Young Artists and Instrumentalists present a recital of baroque solos and ensembles, Thursday at 7:30pm in Galvin Recital Hall.

Northwestern Bach Academy Final Performance The summer Northwestern Bach Academy workshop concludes with a performance of the Kyrie and Gloria from Bach’s Mass in B Minor. Completed in 1749 and among the composer’s most popular works, it would influence generations of composers to come, including Haydn, Beethoven, and Liszt.
