TO BELONG in Rotterdam — welcoming Rotarians, Rotaractors, partners and changemakers
Under the theme **TO BELONG – The Power of Connection and Action**, this Summit is about more than coming together. It is about creating a place where people feel truly welcome, where they are seen and valued, and where connection becomes the starting point for meaningful action.
Because when people feel they belong, they are more willing to listen, to learn, to share ideas and to work together on change that lasts.
That is the spirit of this Summit.
Be inspired by Olayinka “Yinka” Hakeem Babalola, Rotary International president 2026 - 2027 speaking to the heart of our main theme: TO BELONG.
Explore the Summit’s focus areas through outstanding speakers including Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands on Literacy, John Hewko, General Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation, on Mental Health, and **Bernice Notenboom, polar explorer and climate writer, on Environment.
And on Sunday, we are honoured to welcome Bana Alabed from Syria, the 16-year-old winner of the 2025 International Children’s Peace Prize.
The experience continues on Saturday evening with a spectacular Gala Evening on board the ss Rotterdam - a unique evening of connection, celebration and unforgettable views of the Rotterdam skyline.
And in September, the Netherlands is at its best: full of energy, light and atmosphere, and ready to welcome guests from across Europe and beyond.
Join us in Rotterdam — and be part of the connection, the conversation and the action.
