The Northwestern Infant Cognition Lab strives to understand how babies between two and twelve months see the world. Babies in our studies will sit on a parent's lap and watch a simple puppet show that lasts no longer than half an hour.

With spring around the corner, so is the Northwestern Infant Lab! We have lots of research going on and would love for you to take part in one (or all) of them! Here's what's happening:

1. You and your baby (2-12 months) can participate in a study about categories from the comfort of your home with us on Zoom. We are particularly looking for babies that are exposed to more than one language at home!

2. You and your child (3.5 to 5 years) can also come into our lab to play with some really cool toys! These studies look at what kids know about objects and how they interact with them. Again, we are flexible on timing and are willing to see what works for you!

If any of the above studies interest you, please feel free to fill out a brief survey (https://tinyurl.com/newparticipantsurvey) to be added to our database! When you take part in one of our studies, we compensate you either $10 (Zoom study) or $20 (lab studies) for your time as well as an infant-sized or child-sized T-shirt on your first visit (virtual or in-person)!
