I have been seeing kids for less time and greater frequency to help keep the reading and thinking each day. This is more effective than long blocks of online instruction. I miss the face to face contact!

I am finding ways to engage and motivate students remotely that mirror my teaching in person, like playing games to practice, reading great books together, and teaching through video. Now, more than ever, helping children feel safe and connected is pivotal.
