CLASP condemns yesterday’s mob attack on the U.S. Capitol. It was a white supremacist assault on U.S. democracy and in our own city of Washington, endangering our greater community.

The Michigan Legislature is betraying the people by passing a bill that will gut !
The new bill? $12/hour by 2030 instead of 2022.
The subminimum tipped wage would only rise from $3.52 to $4.58/hour by 2030. That’s $1.06 over 11 yrs.
