Attached below is a link to the J Street U Board Application. This quarter, we have been building a Chapter on campus that can and will work towards J Street U’s campaign, Stop Demolition Build Peace. J Street U hosts speaker events, community teach-ins concerning Israel’s history and current political climate as well as leads social media initiatives to defend the two-state solution, oppose creeping annexation by the Israeli settlement movement and stand with vulnerable Palestinian communities in the West Bank. This application is open to anyone even if you are unfamiliar with the organization. However, if you do not feel that you are able to apply for Board but rather, are interested in becoming more involved in J Street U or simply have questions or ideas please do not hesitate to message us here and we would love to speak with you about what J Street U can look like at Northwestern. J Street U Northwestern would like to thank Representative Jan Schakowsky for speaking out against the impending demolitions in the Palestinian village of Susya. Congresswoman Schakowsky's strong leadership should serve as an example to all political leaders as to how protect Palestinian human rights and the possibility of a two-state solution.
