Late post, but a good update!

On April 13th, SPB brought over 20 NU students to TEAMS Design in West Town. We had a two-hour casual session with Paul Hatch, who is the founder and president of TEAMS USA. Students got a personal tour of the office, learned about visual perception in products, and heard in-depth about many TEAMS products and specifics about the design process that went into them.

"It was cool to see how a product design office is laid out in industry and how it is very modular."

"Paul was a great host (and one man army) who simultaneously imparted knowledge about visual perception and showed us what it means to work at TEAMS. There was something in there for marketing people, engineers, and designers."

Thank you to TEAMS Design and Paul Hatch for collaborating with us to bridge Northwestern students with design professionals in the Chicago area!

We had a very successful Industry Day at Beyond Design last week!
"Beyond Design was my first experience in a design consultancy and the opportunity of meeting with the founder was incredible and eye-opening to a field I hope to eventually join."
~ Katrina Armistead, MaDE 2016
