Hello! I’m offering summer sampler classes for interested children 4-8 in playing violin! I am a teacher in Evanston with 30 years of experience. The 6 week class is from 6/10-7/22 at my home studio in South Evanston. New shirt!

This time of year always reminds me of the American Suzuki Institute in Steven’s Point, WI - shown here in 1977 at the final concert. The Suzuki movement was in full swing and the amounts of kids playing together was inspiring. The teachers were incredible and talented soloists played each night in this gym. I have such great memories of Steven’s Point.

Some summer updates:
Augie is in Ireland for the summer, where he is participating in lots of violin lessons, sessions, and busking!

Jane is at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp where she has been seated 5th chair, 1st violin in their Masterworks (most advanced) orchestra! She’s also trying out harp, and overall having a great time!
She sent me a lovely postcard.

The graduating seniors are all getting ready for auditions for college.

Many new students have joined my studio this summer, and I love getting to know them!
