πŸ’‘Ward Center Student Spotlight: Get to Know Shirley Liu ⬇️⬇️

πŸ“ I was born and raised in Xiangyang, China, a middle size city where my family enterprise Camel Group sits. My father founded the company 40 years ago. From a small local factory with fewer than 100 workers, now it becomes the largest SLI battery manufacturer in Asia.

πŸ“š I went to NYU for college, majoring in economics and psychology. After graduation, I joined the company and took charge of operations for three years. Here at Kellogg, I am targeting strategy and general management majors. I serve as the co-president of General Management Club and VP of strategic initiatives of Family Enterprise Club. I see great value in the connection between alumni and students, and I will be dedicated to facilitating such conversations. I am also an active participant of KFBO, where I learned a lot from other FECers’ experiences and gained meaningful advice from FECers.

🏑 My father has dedicated his whole life to environment-friendly energy through circular economy. Growing with the company, I am strongly influenced by its core culture – always thinking and innovating.
