For the past two years, the Columbia County School District has been delighted to offer breakfast and lunch to all children at no cost. This was made possible thanks to the generous support of the USDA reimbursing schools for meals served to students, regardless of household income. However, this funding will no longer be available next school year.
Beginning July 1, 2022, through July 22, 2022, the Columbia County School District is requesting all families complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application. Applications completed and submitted by July 22, will ensure that all eligible students receive free or reduced meal benefits on the first day of school.
Those who are unsure if their student(s) are eligible should complete the form. Only one application is needed per household and all information will remain private and confidential. Beginning July 1, 2022, the application will be available online at www.ccboe.net/nutrition/. Paper copies will be available upon request. Families receiving SNAP and/or TANF food assistance are eligible for free meals, however, these families are still encouraged to complete and submit the application by the July 22 deadline
The following meal costs will be applied beginning with the 2022-2023 school year:

Breakfast – $1.50

Lunch – $2.85

Reduced Cost Breakfast – $0.30

Reduced Cost Lunch – $0.40

Adult Breakfast – $2.00

Adult Lunch – $3.75

These prices are a continuation of what was previously charged prior to meals being served at no cost. A la carte items will be sold separately where available.
By completing the application, students deemed eligible for free or reduced meals may also become eligible for a variety of scholarship opportunities as well as waivers and/or reductions in application or exam fees such as the SAT, ACT or AP exams, among others.

No doubt about it, Parkway has the BEST school nurse around! Nurse Mahoney has proven many times this school year that no boo-boo is too big or too small...she can handle them ALL!

Congratulations to Mrs. Hromyak and our Beta Club for earning the National Beta School of Distinction award AND the School of Merit award. We are incredibly proud of the outstanding work this club is doing for our school and community. Way to go Wildcats!

This is for 2022-2023 Parkway Kindergarten parents only. If at all possible, we ask that no children attend. Thank you!

Beta Club dropped off our donations from Parkway's toiletry and toy drive to The Ronald McDonald House yesterday afternoon. Thank you for your generous contributions. Many families will be blessed by your donations.

Please help us celebrate our amazing TEACHERS and PARAS for all of their hard work and dedication to Parkway!! Help us thank them for pouring so much love, learning, positivity, and success into our Wildcats daily.

Happy Principal's Day to our fearless leader, Mrs. Winter! Behind every GREAT school is a GREAT principal and we appreciate ALL you do to help make Parkway so GREAT!

Thank you Mrs. Thacker, Mrs. Randall, and Mrs. Sedam for being the oil that keeps us going and the glue that holds us together! I can honestly say we'd all be lost without you amazing ladies!
