Here's our Wildcat Weekly for September 11, 2026!

Heads Up, Parkway! Our Annual Fundraiser is September 30 - October 8!
This year, we are switching things up a bit and we are so excited to share all the details with you!

Save the Date for Family Paint Night!
The Parkway PTO invites all Wildcat families to join us for an evening of creativity, fun, and family memories at our Family Paint Night! Whether you're an experienced artist or picking up a paintbrush for the first time, this event is designed for everyone to enjoy. Families will be creating their own masterpiece on a 16" × 20" canvas to take home and display.
• Date: Friday, September 18, 2026
• Time: 6:00–7:30 PM
• Location: PES Cafeteria
• Cost: $25 per 16" × 20" canvas
Participants can choose from a variety of exciting painting themes, including:
• Parkway Wildcat Spirit
• Jungle & Animals
• Under the Sea
• Nature
• Abstract Art
• Sports
Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your canvas early! Registration information will be shared soon.

FUN RUN
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! We have a few changes we want to draw your attention to!

This is Parkway's 11th year, and the first 10 years, we used a commonly used company to host our biggest fundraiser: Boosterthon. They served us so well and helped us grow to a place where we can create our own.

What stays the same as year's past:
We will still have a fun run (Oct 8).
We will still have a 5th grade color run (Oct 8).

This year, Boosterthon is not hosting the fundraiser—PTO is. Our team, led by our fabulous VP, has been working diligently to create a fun and engaging plan that includes Minute-to-Win-It games, high-quality class and grade-level rewards, and reduced overhead so that more of the funds raised can go directly to Parkway.

Overhead Changes
Instead of the standard 30–55% overhead associated with using a third-party fundraiser, we are handling the fundraiser in-house and using RevTrak exclusively, which brings our overhead down to approximately 4.5%.

We understand that everything comes with a cost. Our goal is simply to reduce those costs as much as possible so that more fundraising dollars directly benefit our students and school.

If this fundraiser performs as well as it has in previous years, we hope to continue with this reduced-overhead model going forward. If it does not, we will evaluate our options, including potentially bringing in a third-party partner such as Boosterthon in the future.
