Bredren Orchids Retail only orchid vendor specializing in novelty Phalaenopsis species/hybrids and Broughtonia species/hybrids. Cheers!

However, we strive to offer many other interesting species and hybrids. We are a small retail nursery that is currently mail-order only. Our stock currently consists mainly of novelty Phalaenopsis hybrids from our own breeding as well as Caribbean species and Broughtonia species/hybrids bred by Claude Hamilton of Hamlyn Orchids in Jamaica. We are the primary source, in the USA, for his breeding lines. Currently, we only ship within the CONTINENTAL US (excluding Arizona). We can ship to Puerto Rico, but will not do so without obtaining a Phyto, at customers cost (NO EXCEPTIONS). We encourage our Puerto Rican customers to combine their orders into one shipment (so as to share the Phyto cost).

It’s a PRIME time to support small businesses!

Purposely not on Amazon but you can still get F R E E shipping until 12/31! And within Florida, you may even get it next day 🤯

Thank you for considering small family businesses like ours this holiday season - where your money pays our rent, not a yacht (or a spaceship 🚀).

For me, the two most impressive things I saw at the National Capitol Orchid Society Show (that we were vendors at) this weekend in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

1. Brassia caudata fma alba ‘J.E.M.’ AM-JC/AOS. A very rare, and stunning, color form of a Jamaican species.

2. Sarah Hurdel’s (Needmore Orchids) Habenaria display. Fantastic! Show Trophy and Gold Certificate winner. Just awesome. And to think this young lady grows all these plants in her basement!

Dear Customers and Friends,

The time has come for us to take a short vacation and recharge after what has already been a very busy first half of the year.

To allow our team some well-deserved time away, shipping will be suspended from June 25 through July 12. You are still welcome to place orders during this period, and shipping will resume the week of July 13.

We look forward to returning refreshed, reenergized, and ready to tackle what promises to be an equally busy second half of the year.

Thank you for your continued support, and we wish you a wonderful summer!
Sincerely,

Liz & Phillip
