🎨 Wagons West Spotlight: America 250 Barn Quilt Community Art Project Unveiling! 🎨

A community project months in the making will be revealed at this year’s Wagons West Celebration!

Join us on Sunday, August 2, from 1:00–4:00 PM at Trails & Rails Museum for the unveiling of the America 250 Barn Quilt Community Art Project. This beautiful collaborative artwork celebrates our community’s creativity, history, and shared stories as part of Buffalo County’s America 250 celebration.

Created through the efforts of local artists, community members, and partners, the finished barn quilt represents the many hands and hearts that make Buffalo County special.

📍Sioux Falls, SD Time is flying by quick! We will be doing our barn quilt class at The Dutch Rose Quilt Shop in Sioux Falls, SD soon. Registration is still open and link to it is below.

2 foot barn quilt class, 160 Geometric designs and a wide range of colors to choose from!

We use ACM & Exterior House Paint.

If you would like us to bring extras in certain sizes we will need to know by the end of this week so we can get them prepared for you. We are bringing ACM barn quilt blanks in various sizes, exterior house paint and copies of my book to the event.

Community Barn Quilt Art Project Reminder!

A friendly reminder to all participants that completed barn quilt tiles are due back to the museum by June 26, 2026.

Tiles are still available for any Buffalo County resident who would like to participate.

Thank you for helping create this one-of-a-kind community art project! We can't wait to see your finished designs and bring all 250 tiles together for the final display.
