Eustace ISD Parents, Guardians, and Families,
Due to Oncor repairing the damaged power pole and lines, there may be a possible road closure of Henderson Street. Eustace ISD would like to communicate in preparation for the road closure. This afternoon and tomorrow morning, we will implement changes to car rider pickup procedures at Robert Reeve Intermediate School and Eustace Primary School and dismissal times at all campuses. Again, this is for this afternoon, Wednesday, October 14, and tomorrow morning, Thursday, October 15.
Car riders at ALL campuses will be dismissed 20 minutes earlier than their regularly scheduled pickup time for this afternoon. Other than the time change, Eustace Middle and Eustace High Schools will use the regular traffic pattern for picking up their students. By dismissing early, this will allow traffic to dissipate and allow buses to pick up effectively. Buses will run at the regular time for all campuses. If ONCOR continues to need the road closed through tomorrow afternoon dismissal, we will notify you as soon as we have that information.
Parents picking up students at Robert Reeve Intermediate School and Eustace Primary School campuses should follow the temporary traffic route outlined below (see map below):
•Entry: Access the pickup area by entering Oak Street.
•Pickup: Travel along Bonsal Street to reach the regular car rider pickup lines at Robert Reeve Intermediate School and Eustace Primary School.
•Exit: After picking up students, parents should exit the car rider lines as they normally would, while avoiding Henderson Street due to the closure.
