🐾 Blevins Bobcats are hitting the road for the Eureka Days Parade! 🐾

We’re excited to represent Blevins Elementary in the Eureka Days Parade on Saturday, September 26th! 🎉

📍 Where: Look for the Blevins school float at or near the Upper River Church parking lot
⏰ Meet Time: 10:30 AM
🎺 Parade Starts: 11:00 AM SHARP!

🚨 IMPORTANT: You MUST arrive BEFORE the parade starts! Once the parade is underway, you will not be able to join our group.

👕 WHAT TO WEAR:
Students should wear their Blevins t-shirts, which will be coming home with students before Friday! We want to see a sea of Blevins Bobcats along the parade route!

🍬 PLEASE BRING CANDY:
We ask that each family bring a bag of candy to hand out along the parade route. Please remember that candy cannot be thrown from vehicles or floats. Candy should be handed out by participants walking along the side of the route.

Parking at Blevins Elementary is encouraged. Shuttle service will be available:
• Blevins to the staging area: 9:00–10:30 AM
• Central Avenue Spur back to Blevins: 11:30 AM–2:00 PM

Come out, wear your Blevins shirt, bring some candy, and help us show off our Bobcat pride! 💛❤️

A very special shout-out to our incredible Blevins Elementary PTO, especially Mrs. Zickrick, Mrs. Schormann, and Mrs. Brune, for all the time, planning, and love they put into organizing our breakfast and book fair. We are so grateful for everything you do to make Blevins such a special place!

Last Friday, our 4th grade students had a special opportunity to honor the Eureka firefighters, police officers, and Rockwood’s security officer who serves Blevins. Our service project gave students a meaningful way to show appreciation for the everyday heroes who help keep our community safe.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated snacks for our First Responders! They truly appreciated the treats and the thoughtful handmade cards our students created in class. It was a powerful experience for our students to give back and make a positive difference in our community.

I have attached a picture from our service project so you can see our students in action!

Thank you for partnering with us and helping make experiences like this possible. I am so proud of the kindness, gratitude, and caring hearts our 4th graders continue to show each day.
