SSA at CR The purpose of the group is to provide a safe space for secular students at College of the Redwoods and promote critical thinking and self-awareness.

Good Morning to those of you who have found the page so far and to my fellow secular students.

An order has been placed for tabling supplies and the counter-tabling idea in response to the creationist Jehovah's Witness table on campus is a go once we have supplies.

We are trying currently to get involved in other groups' activities to show our support for student organizations and to help display the power we have as students to get real things accomplished when we stand together.

Tomorrow's meeting will be at 11 AM in the Bayshore Mall Cafeteria. I hope to see you there.

To the members of SSA-CR, we have encountered a huge issue in scheduling, as our members are all very busy and on different schedules, and over 2/3 of us also work jobs off campus.

This being the case, I have sent an email which has had next to no responses from group members, and I am posting here as a secondary notification. There are three meeting options available, and I have sent an email to everyone on my email list with this page and those options in it. Please check your emails.

SSA at CR (or SSA-CR) has officially started a group on campus at the College of the Redwoods in Eureka, CA. Within the next few weeks, we hope to get our members together to form and ratify a student group constitution and/or bylaws, and become a ratified group on campus. If you are a student at CR and would like to get in touch with us, please contact the ASCR on campus, located near the cafeteria, and get the contact information for Shane Blodgett to find out how you can become involved.
