Most Sacred Heart School

Happy first day of school, Chargers! Most Sacred Heart students had their first day back in the classroom today, and the halls were alive with excitement and joy! We can tell it's going to be a great year! Did you get some snaps of great friends reuniting? Catch a picture of your kiddo's very first day, or perhaps the last first day? Maybe one of Fr. Well, it's official: Most Sacred Heart School has signed some amazing students and the 2026-27 year is looking to be one of our best yet! Last Sunday after Mass, students returning and new attended Sneak-A-Peek where they got the chance to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and reconnect with old friends. During Mass, we got to introduce faculty and staff, and pass along a special blessing for a great year. Thanks especially to all volunteers, including Studio C Arch & Art who helped us celebrate in style! We’re gearing up for a great year!

Join us after 11:30 Mass on Sunday for Sneak-A-Peek--a chance to meet your teachers, see your classroom, and say hi to some of your MSHS friends! As a special treat, there will be a "signing table" available for Kindergarteners, new students, and anyone who wants to commemorate the new school year! We hope to see you there!

Father Joe & all the silly geese went on a Disney cruise to The Bahamas with Teegen & his family! They loved watching sunsets, seeing the beautiful Bahamas, and exploring the cruise ship! Where will Father Joe and his silly geese travel to next?

God’s Silliest Goose traveled with Mrs. Laposha (the new kindergarten teacher at MSHS) and her family to Florida! They had fun splashing in the waves, building sandcastles, chasing the seagulls, and swimming in the pool! Mrs. Laposha can’t wait to meet all her sweet students in August after some nice relaxation on the beach. 😊😎

Mrs. Kelley Krause is a lifelong resident of Eureka. Fun fact! She was a former student here at Most Sacred Heart. After graduating from Eureka High School, she attended Missouri State University earning a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. Not long after, she completed her Master in Education from Webster University. Mrs. Krause began her teaching career in Rockwood School District teaching grades 1-4. She retired from Rockwood with 25 years of service. Her family then moved to Southlake, Texas where she taught 3rd grade for several years. She recently moved back to St. Louis area, but her passion for teaching continues. Mrs. Krause has 3 children, Taylor 28, Morgan 26, and Jake 22. Mrs. Krause’s students love when her sweet golden retriever, Stevie Nicks comes to visit.

Maxwell (2nd grade) took God's Silliest Geese with him and his family to Wisconsin Dells! Fr. Joe and the flock got to ride along for Max's first horse ride, a water park full of slides, a goose-approved day of boating on the lake, and encounters with so many of God's other creatures. Now that the Silly Geese have had their fill of Wisconsin cheese, where will they head next?!

Elise and Avery took Fr. Joe and his silly geese on a tropical adventure this summer! 🏖️🪿 They soaked up the sun on the beautiful beaches of Puerto Rico, where the Silliest Goose and his flock enjoyed the ocean breeze, soft sand, and fun in the sun! ☀️ They may have forgotten to bring Fr. Joe on a few other adventures, but he definitely didn’t miss the beach!

Fr. Joe visited Panama City Beach for Dance Nationals with Ella and Emma! The Silliest Goose had so much fun watching all the different dances during the week!
They also visited the beach and enjoyed sunshine, and enough laughter and memories to last a lifetime.

Levi and Simon took Fr. Joe to Dauphin Island, AL where they explored the historic Fort Gaines and rode the ferry to Gulf Shores for the day. The boys had fun at Fort Gaines exploring the original cannons, seeing how civil war era soldiers and their families lived, and had fun walking through all the tunnels. On the ferry ride, they fed seagulls and shrimp straight from their hands! What an amazing experience! God's Silliest Goose is loving all the adventures!
